Given the considerable scientific evidence for Creation and against Evolution, I would now like to show you how you can know the creator.
Jesus Christ is the Creator.
1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God.
3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jesus is the word, that is God come in the flesh.
Genesis 1:31. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
God created a perfect world good and free from evil.
12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
14. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Lucifer was the chief angel until he sinned. Simply put sin means evil. He became lifted up with pride and wanted to be God. Since the job was not available, he rebelled against God. There by evil entered into God's creation. Lucifer; now known as Satan; drew 1/3 of the angels into his rebellion.
Now Satan and his followers were created perfect by God, but like us they were created with a free will. You see God did not want a bunch of robots, so He gave His creations a free will. They had the ability to choose between good and evil and they chose evil. God knew that they would choose evil, but by definition having free will means that given a choice between good and evil, some will choose evil.
Once evil entered God's creation He could not just let it run out of control. It would spread like a cancer eventually bringing all of creation to misery and destruction. So God needs to judge evil and remove it from creation, but he can not do it in a tyrannical or arbitrary way. God's solution was to let evil play it self out in a limited manner, so that all of creation can see why evil needs to be dealt with. He will then someday judge it once and for all. Those who choose evil are saying that they do not want to be with God, so some day He is going to give them what they want. He will send them to a place with out him, that place is known as Hell.
The Bible describes hell as a place of eternal separation from God, so the conditions there seem to be a natural result of God removing his presence. It is not God's fault if in giving those who reject him what they want, if it is not what they expect. The fire of Hell is real but that is reality with out God.
Genesis 1:27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God created man sinless, but man fell by sinning and so evil and death entered the world.
Genesis 2: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
At first glance this seems like excessive punishment for such an apparently small thing, but there was more to the act than just eating the fruit.
4. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
In eating the fruit Man disobeyed God, as much as he could at the time. You see there was so little opportunity to disobey God in the Garden of Eden. God was giving man a choice, and making it as easy as possible. It was a strait forward as it could get: eat or don't eat the fruit from one tree out of probably thousands.
When Adam and Eve ate that fruit they were not only disobeying God but calling him a liar as well. Through a snake Satan told Eve that she would not die if they ate that fruit. Adam and Eve believed Satan rather than God. They thereby brought man kind in to Satan's rebellion
The final part of Satan's pitch is evident in the name of the tree itself. The desire to know both good and evil is clearly part of the fall. Man knew only good in the Garden of Eden, so when Adam and Eve eat the fruit they decided that they wanted to know evil as well, and God is letting us experience it.
God could have made Man incapable of making the wrong choice, or he could have not given Man the opportunity to choose. However God does not want robots nor does he want to force Man to be with him, so he provided a choice. Adam and Eve made the wrong choice.
Romans 5:12. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 3:23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
So all of us have sinned. That is we all have a tendency to do evil.
The problem is that God can not allow even the smallest amount of evil in heaven. It would not be true paradise other wise.
Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus Christ paid for our sin by his death on the cross. He then sealed our redemption by his resurrection from the dead. The empty tomb; where he was buried and rose from the dead; stands as evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
God really wants us with him in heaven, but He will not force himself on us. He respects our free will by giving us a choice.
2 Corinthians 7:10. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Romans 10:13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If we will repent of or evil ways ( sin ) and ask him to save us, he will save us from our sin. If not, we reject God's plan for salvation and are saying that we dont want to be with him. So God gives us what we want. We end up in that place with out him, known as Hell.
I urge you to take the time and accept Gods plan of salvation now, while you can. Repent of your sin and ask God to save you from your sins.
