Pre-Flood Rivers of Genesis 2

Genesis 2
10.  And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11.  The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12.  And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13.  And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14.  And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

The passage is used by some to criticize the idea of a global flood. It is based on the claim that these are post Flood rivers that are mentioned before the Flood.

The first two called the Pison and Gihon, have never been successfully associated with any post Flood river. Moses seems to have simply been giving an idea as to their location before the Flood.

The third is called the Hiddekel, and which is another name for the Tigris.

The forth is called Euphrates, but Moses gives no location for it. Now there is a post Flood river in Iraq called the Euphrates, and critics often assume that this is the same Euphrates mentioned in Genesis 2:14.

However Noah's descendants probably named the postflood Tigris and Euphrates for pre Flood Tigris and Euphrates, this is a common occurrence in history, that is naming new locations after old. It is interesting to note under the modern Euphrates is a depression in the rock right down to the pre-Cambrian rock which is considered by creationists to be pre-Flood. Could this be where the pre-Flood Euphrates flowed?

Further more the pre Flood rivers mentioned in Genesis 2, parted from a single river. This shows considerable geologic change during the flood. Proving that these pre Flood rivers are not the same as any post Flood rives.
